New York has always been a go to destination for me, which I've wanted to go to for years. 2024 was the year I decided to go, for New Years Eve. My partner found The Dominick hotel and talked about it's location and how it's highly rated. After a bit of research of the area, and seeing the amazing photos online, I decided to go for it and reserve a room for my once in a lifetime visit. Upon reserving it I was able to send a message regarding any special request, and I mentioned how I was celebrating an anniversary between my partner and I, for which they 'made a note' of at the time. Come to the time of the trip away, we arrive late in the evening and the staff were incredibly welcoming and pleasant, and they mentioned that due to our anniversary that they were able to upgrade our room. We went to our room, on the 36th floor, and from opening the door and as we walked in we were pretty wowed. The room was spacious, clean, modern and all of the things you'd expect from a hotel. There was a little note on the side wishing us a happy anniversary. We opened the curtains which covered the floor to ceiling windows and, unfortunately, it was incredibly foggy outside so visibility wasn't great... ...however, come the morning where, due to jetlag, we are both up before the sunrise I was taken aback and simply stunned from the view - looking out across the financial district, the Hudson river to one side - met with the empowering view of the World Trade Centre - following the window to the left we were then also able to see towards the quintessential skyline, the empire state building, the Chrysler building, etc. The nights we stayed there the view did not get boring or old - it took my breath away every single time I was able to gaze upon it - my partner and I would even pull up a chair of an evening, or morning, and just sit at the window and watch the world go by before or after our busy days. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

The location was perfect for visiting areas like Soho, The Village, and even the East Village. We spent most of our time within walking distance to the hotel, where there are lots of great restaurants, bars, comedy clubs, jazz bars, and shopping. There was a subway station close to the hotel so you could easily access the city by subway if walking isn't your preferred mode of transport. Staff were very friendly. They allowed us to stow our bags after check-out and when we returned later, we were able to sit in the lobby whilst we waited for our driver. The best part of our stay was the complimentary upgrade when we checked in. It was unexpected and we went from a king room to a suite! It was huge, with a good view. The hotel was a great place to stay for our vacation. We would absolutely return, and I would highly recommend The Dominick.

The location was excellent. You were right in the heart of Soho with loads of restaurants and shops. The doorman was knowledgeable and helped us choose between a taxi and an Uber to Newark Airport. Their restaurant recommendations were also good. The view from the room was very nice, and the room had lots of light. The bathroom had lovely amenities (including slippers and bathrobes). The rain shower was perfect and the bathroom had a nice bathtub.

Perhaps the best views in all of Manhattan. Modern tall skyscraper with floor to ceiling 180 degree views out of many rooms, including ours in many directions. Simply breathtaking, exceptional and a real treat to see the city in that way out of the comfort of our room. The rooms were nice and a good size especially for Manhattan and the gym was also very very nice - but the views were just superb. Very special.

The location is perfect if you like to be close to Soho and Tribeca. Our skyline king room was good size even for 3 guests and the bed was very comfortable. Pool area was lovely. All of the staff were excellent . Overall it’s a great hotel in a nice area of the city close to subway station and nice restaurants.
